Rights to the industry portal
fairtrade has the exclusive right to duplicate, distribute and publicly reproduce the entire Industry Portal or, depending on type and size, a significant part thereof.
The user shall not be entitled to any proprietary rights, rights of exploitation or rights of use and enjoyment with reference to the Industry Portal.
The information service shall be supplied to the user free of charge. The user shall have no claims to uninterrupted access to fairtrade’s Internet service wholly or in part in this or any other form. fairtrade shall not be obliged to inform the user of any interruptions.
Information obtained from an external source and placed on the Website on behalf of the Exhibitor as part of the Industry Portal, shall be the responsibility of fairtrade only where it has knowledge of this information and where use of this information can be technically and admissibly prevented by fairtrade. fairtrade is not aware of any infringement of rights by the information from an external source on its Website.
fairtrade shall not be responsible for information from an external source to which it merely provides access. This shall apply in particular to information which can be accessed by selecting a hyperlink. The inclusion of a hyperlink on fairtrade’s Website shall be no indication that fairtrade has verified the contents of the linked website. fairtrade expressly dissociates itself from the contents of linked websites.
Use of fairtrade’s information service may, if necessary, require the storage of users' data. The processing of users' data shall solely serve to enable utilisation by the user of the information service. The data shall be deleted immediately following termination of use. fairtrade shall not forward this data to third parties, unless the user has expressly consented to the forwarding of such information. Where a particular use of the homepage requires the forwarding or other processing of the user's information, the user's consent shall be requested at that time.
