Ms Maryina Parfinska,

Siemens - Head of Marketing Department:

Siemens AG has been active on the territory of modern Ukraine for 160 years while Siemens Ukraine has been active since 1997. We are very pleased to work with local producers in the areas of automation and drives, ranging from the peripheral level-sensors and actuators, control systems and CNC for machine tools to industrial computers for technological process control and PCs for overall control and plant operations. Ukraine offers a big opportunity for our company in terms of equipment modernization. The desire to modernize up to European standards is something we would like to support.
We believe in a systematic approach to modernization and automation. Many Ukrainian production facilities could benefit from energy audit, followed by a step by step automation program and elimination of the most inefficient spots at first. Ideally, we would like to see large and medium size companies using our Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) concept which provides a uniform automation environment from the work shop level to the top management level and increases efficiency at all production levels.

elcomUkraine is one of the key events for Siemens Ukraine. It provides a communication platform for delivery of messages of automation, digitalization and Industry 4.0 to Ukrainian professionals. This is a Ukrainian alternative of Hannover Fair and it helps us connect with key customers as well as broader audience which in return helps us reach our sales targets.

Ms Tatyana Stuzhuk,

LAPP Ukraine – Marketing Manager:

LAPP established their business in Ukraine in 2003 and nowadays employs 30 staff. Ukraine was the first market for LAPP in the former Soviet countries, even before Russia. This market has always been very important for LAPP and we still see a high demand for our products.

There is a high potential for development and modernisation in the Ukrainian energy sector. The cables of LAPP are well known for their high quality. And an investment in our products means an investment in long lasting lifetime.

elcomUkraine is an ideal platform to meet all our customers and get in contact with new valuable business contacts. Increasing the visibility of our brand and our products is the major target for our participation at elcomUkraine 2015 as well as to turn the visitors at our booth to our customers in the future.

Mr Robert Lavynyukov (left),

Zeppelin Ukraine – Director:

Zeppelin Ukraine has represented Caterpillar Inc. since 1996 as on official dealer. Since then, we have sold more than 2000 units of CAT products with a great focus on after sales service. We represent a leading supplier of modern engines and generating sets which have no match here in Ukraine. CAT products allow a wise and efficient consumption of natural resources.
We are grateful towards the organizers of elcomUkraine. The trade show allows us to generate productive leads, new prospective contacts and enables a better understanding of the current business environment.

Mr Soluk Musa (right),

Nilson Elektrik & vito Ukraine:

Ukraine is one of our neighbour countries and the building sector has been growing. For this reason, Nilson must focus on Ukraine.  We offer high quality switches and sockets to our customers in Ukraine. Our products contribute to the modernization of the Ukrainian energy sector through high quality with reasonable prices.

Thanks to our participation at elcomUkraine, we can easily reach wholesalers, retailers and end-users. It offers us great opportunities to introduce our brand and increase the visibility of Nilson in this promising market.

Mr Volker Nawroth,

Hoppecke Batterien - Technical Sales:

Our company has been active in Ukraine since 2012. We find the Ukrainian market important as it brings us additional business activities. We contribute to the modernization of the Ukrainian energy sector by producing high quality and innovative Power Systems for the energy and industrial market.

The trade show elcomUkraine 2015 enables us to maintain our existing clients as well as to extend new business contacts.

Mr Edip Can Alpaslan,

ONKA – Area Sales Manager:

We have been actively working in Ukraine for 7 years. This market is very important for us as it provides great potential for our products and is close to Turkey, not only geographically. Our products are very popular in Ukraine as we provide our customers with high quality for fair prices.

elcomUkraine is the most import energy exhibition in this region with a strong visitorship of high quality. Therefore, this event is an ideal business platform for ONKA in order to increase our market share.

Mr Alexander Nikitin,

MR – Head of Sales department:

MR started selling their products on the Ukrainian market already 90 years ago. The Ukrainian energy system is the second strongest power among the CIS countries. MR has many products and systems for the modernisation of transformers. We sell our products directly to the final consumer as well as to our distributors.

Our target at elcomUkraine 2015 is to meet new contacts from energy companies and to set new sales possibilities for our products on the Ukrainian market.

Ms Marta Hahn,

Hahn GmbH & Co. KG:

We have been active in Ukraine since 2005 with production as well as with selling activities. Ukraine offers a great labour cost base which is very good for the competition on the market. Our production site, based in Novovolynsk, has more than 350 employees.

With our European regulations and standards, we supply internationally and hence are holding up a certain standard of products.

This is our first participation at elcom and we are looking forward to the upcoming exhibition days. Until now, we have had numerous valuable contacts!

Mr Oleksandr Gryschko (left),

Phoenix Contact - Engineer:

Phoenix is active in Ukraine, because it is a big, developing market and hence is important to us. 80% of our sales take energy distribution systems including energy saving systems (wind, solar power systems). This shows how our products contribute to the development of Ukraine’s process of modernization.

elcomUkraine helps us to find new clients and opportunities and hence facilitates our marketing and sales targets.

GTAI: “Association & Free Trade Agreement is a milestone for Ukraine”

According GTAI-Germany Trade & Invest “the association and free trade agreement with the EU is a milestone for Ukraine. The mutual custom duties are set to almost zero. The adaptation to standards and regulations of the EU will significantly improve the business climate in Ukraine. And billions in aid to the modernization of infrastructure and industry are on.”

The contract provides for a gradual adaptation of rules and standards to the standards of the EU. Kiev is obliged to respect democratic principles, human rights, rule of law and free market economy.

In addition, there should be a free trade zone between the EU and Ukraine, which provides an adaptation of the Ukrainian economy in the areas of competition, procurement, copyrights, tenders, subsidies, certification, financial market and traffic to the EU.

GTAI therefore predicts significantly more investments in Ukraine and estimates that economic recovery is possible already in 2015.

The adoption of EU standards and the competitiveness in free trade with the European Union, however, require immense modernization efforts from the Ukrainian companies.

For the areas of energy and electrical engineering, energy efficiency and automation the 20th International Trade Fair elcomUkraine 2016 guarantees ideal access to the Ukrainian market.

Organised by the German trade show specialists fairtrade and their Ukrainian partners Euroindex the 20th elcomUkraine will take place on 19-22 April 2016.

Central Europe’s leading international trade fair on power engineering, electrical engineering, energy efficiency and automation will once again be held at the KyivExpoPlaza in Kiev.
