Global players trust in agrofood & plastprintpack Nigeria - the leading food-tec and packaging event in April 2016 in Lagos

The Nigerian agrofood and plastprintpack sectors become ever more attractive for international suppliers. Against this backdrop the German trade fair specialists fairtrade organise the 2nd edition of agrofood & plastprintpack Nigeria. This professional international industry gathering is scheduled for 26 to 28 April 2016 at the Landmark Centre on Victoria Island in Lagos. Notable global players trust in this leading food-tec and packaging event and already booked their exhibition space.

Between 2010 and 2014 Nigerian imports of food processing and packaging technology have increased from 198 million Euros to 381 million Euros, an annual growth rate of 18 per cent. In the same period imports of agricultural machinery and equipment went up from 97 million Euros to 119 million Euros, an annual growth rate of 5 per cent.

In the same period imports of packaging technology increased by an annual growth rate of 24 per cent up to 201 million Euros, printing technology imports went up by 45 per cent to 75 million Euros and plastics technology imports annually grew by 13 per cent.
