The 20th edition of elcomUkraine is getting closer. On 19 to 22 April the KyivExpoPlaza will host the International Trade Fair on Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Efficiency and Automation. The event is organized by fairtrade and their Ukrainian partners Euroindex. 190 market leaders from 10 countries will display their latest solutions for the modernization of the Ukrainian energy and industrial sector.
Organized by fairtrade and their Ukrainian partners Euroindex the 20th edition of elcomUkraine takes place from 19 to 22 April at the KyivExpoPlaza. 190 market leaders from 10 countries will display their latest innovations compared to 148 last year. The exhibitors come from Austria, Belarus, China, Czech Rep, Germany, Korea, Poland, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine. They present their solutions in the fields of modern, efficient and sustainable infrastructure in power transmission and distribution, building and industrial automation, electro-technology and lightning technology.
The target of elcomUkraine is to accompany the modernization of the Ukrainian industry and power generators. An integral part of the fair is its program of professional conferences, presentations and seminars.
Official German participation
The official German participation is presented by the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and supported by ZVEI – the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association.
Leading industrial show
Since 2015 business with Ukraine is on the upswing as billions in aid to the modernization of infrastructure and industry are being invested. Exhibitors of elcomUkraine 2015 already reported about a more buoyant business mood. Visitor numbers up 8% to 7,724 underlined these impressions. So it comes as no surprise that this year 190 exhibitors participate.
“As Ukraine’s leading industrial trade show between 1997 and 2016 elcomUkraine has succeeded to meanwhile accompany a whole generation and has served as its major platform for technological exchange targeting to enhance cooperation between industrialists and technology suppliers”, says Martin März, Managing Director of the German trade show specialists fairtrade.
Like the years before elcomUkraine 2016 will deliver as an excellent platform for decision-makers from all sectors of the Central and Eastern European industry, public institutions and the services industry to get in contact with cutting-edge solutions first, and to meet new suppliers.
Great market opportunities
According to ZVEI-German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association main Ukrainian imports consist of power engineering technology, cables and wires, automation technology, industrial control systems and lighting technology.
The level and quantity of these imports has been relatively stable also during the past few years, with a peak of 6.5 billion euro in 2012 and a low still amounting to 3.9 billion euro in 2014, figures for 2015 though being not yet available. China, Russia and Germany are the most important supplier countries.
