WACEE'13 - the 2nd West African Clean Energy & Environment Exhibition & Conference is fast approaching. By the beginning of October, more than 40 international market and technology leaders had already booked their exhibition space. This marketplace benefits from substantial institutional support.
WACEE'13 is scheduled to take place on 12 - 14 November 2013 at Ghana’s Accra International Conference Centre. West Africa’s major energy, electrical engineering and environmental exhibition & conference is organised by AHK Ghana-Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana and the German trade fair specialists fairtrade.
Germany will leave a heavy footprint at WACEE'13. The German participation consists of the participation of the German federal state of North-Rhine Westphalia and individual German exhibitors.
In addition, the “Ghanaian-German Renewables Business Forum – Setting the Ground for Sustainable Energy Development” and the conference under the title “Achieving more with less: Resource and energy efficiency for a greener future” will be held alongside the trade fair, organised in cooperation between giz and AHK Ghana-Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana.

According to ZVEI-German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association the figures for energy and electro technology imports reflect the briskly rising exchange especially in this sector. West African imports of energy and electro-technology rose by 27.3% in 2011, to 7.642 billion Euro. West African imports in this sector stood firm on a high level in 2012, amounting to 7.402 billion Euro.

Review WACEE 2012. Organised with full governmental support from all over West Africa, WACEE'12 - The 1st West African Clean Energy & Environment Exhibition & Conference was a real success for both, exhibitors and visitors alike. Indeed, during the 3 days of professional meetings and debate, the event gathered a thousand professionals from all over West Africa discussing business with 67 exhibitors of 6 countries, 50 speakers and 500 participants to the conferences. Exhibitors showed themselves satisfied with the results of their participation and praised the high quality of the visitors. WACEE'12 succeeded to fulfill its mission as a confirmed regional hub and an international showcase for scientific innovations and technologies in the field of energy, electronics and renewables.
