agrofood & plastprintpack West Africa took place at the Accra International Conference Centre on 1-3 December 2015. Ghana’s leading food technology and food packaging trade show this year featured major international players such as Bosch Packaging, Cargill, Doehler, GIZ, KHS, Windmoeller & Hoelscher and many others presenting latest technologies.
A country pavilion from China with eight Chinese exhibitors was present as well as ten French exhibitors in the French Pavilion organised by the French agrofood association adepta. And there is IFDC-Ghana Veg with a Ghanaian-Dutch pavilion. One of the show highlights was the the GhanaVeg Business Platform Meeting.
Altogether 45 exhibitors from 14 countries discussed business with professionals from agriculture and food and drink production. Exhibitors were keen to be in personal touch with their clients and agrofood & plastprintpack West Africa is the best platform to reach this target. An event like this assists the Ghanaian professionals of the sector to get in touch with new recipes and new technologies and therefore plays an important role when it comes to food security and to developing the fast growing Ghanaian agrofood sector.
